Topical Scripture
Bible Verses About Love
Reflection
Love is the pulse of Scripture—from God’s covenant faithfulness to Israel, to the cross where love laid down its life. Every command, every story, every song eventually leads here.
Biblical love is not mere sentiment. It is holy affection expressed in action: patience that endures, kindness that moves toward the other, truth that refuses to abandon. Jesus summarizes the law as love for God and neighbor. Paul describes love that does not envy or boast, that bears all things. John says we love because He first loved us—so our love is always a response before it is an achievement.
These verses are for marriages and friendships, for enemies and strangers, for the days when loving feels easy and the days when it costs. Let them re-center you on the love of Christ that will not let you go. As that love fills you, it overflows—into worship, service, and the quiet choices that look like Jesus.
