Who we are

Faith In Purple (“we”) operates faithinpurple.com — a free Online Bible, verse of the day, and worship content. Contact: faith.in.purple@gmail.com.

What we store

Sign-in providers

We offer email magic links and Google Sign-In. When you use Google, Google shares your email and basic profile with our auth provider (Supabase) so we can create your session. We do not receive your Google password.

Email & newsletters

Magic-link emails are sent through Supabase using Resend as the email processor. If you opt in to updates, your email may be added to our Resend audience for verse-of-the-day or channel news. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Login emails (magic links) are transactional, not marketing.

Shop waitlist

If you ask to be told when the shop opens, we collect the email address you submit and, if you chose a specific piece, which product you were looking at. We use this only to email you when orders open. You can ask us to remove it at any time by writing to faith.in.purple@gmail.com.

Checkout & orders

If you place an order in our store, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and shipping address, along with the contents of your order. We use this information to process and fulfil your order, arrange shipping, send order and delivery updates, and provide support if something goes wrong. We do not use order information for advertising.

Payments (Razorpay)

Payments are processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment gateway. Card, UPI, and other payment credentials are entered directly on Razorpay's own secure interface — they are never entered into, or stored on, our servers. We receive only a payment reference and a payment status from Razorpay, which we use to confirm and record your order.

Shipping partner

We have not yet selected a courier partner. Once we do, we will share the shipping address and order details needed to deliver your order with that courier, for that purpose only. This section will name the courier once one is chosen.

Retention & deletion

You may sign out anytime. You may delete your account from the Account page, which removes your auth user and cascading cloud data (profile and saved verses). Local device data remains until you clear the browser or delete entries in My Verses. You may also email us to request deletion.

We keep order and payment-reference information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil your order, handle support or grievance requests related to it, and meet our legal and accounting record-keeping obligations — then delete or anonymise it once it is no longer needed for those purposes. We have not set a fixed retention period for order data; if you would like to know how long a specific record is kept, email us.

Grievance officer

For a formal complaint about how we handle your personal data, see the named Grievance Officer on our Contact page.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
