Bible Verses About Trust
Reflection
Trust is the open-handed heart of faith—resting your weight on God because He is trustworthy. It is less about controlling outcomes and more about confiding in the One who holds them.
Scripture contrasts trust in the Lord with trust in chariots, riches, princes, or our own cleverness. The Psalms return again and again to this theme: when I am afraid, I put my trust in You. Proverbs paints trust as a straight path for those who acknowledge God in all their ways. The prophets call a wavering people back to the Rock. Jesus invites anxious hearts to consider the birds and lilies—and the Father who feeds and clothes them.
These verses are medicine for control-weary souls. Read them when plans unravel and when they succeed—trust is needed in both. Let them loosen your grip and strengthen your grip on Christ. The God who proved faithful at the cross will not fail you in the details of your week.
